Five young writers from the 'Forum Stadtpark' in Graz who were little-known back then play bizarre characters from their manuscripts, which often appeared in book form much later.

The film shows interviews with 36 contemporary witnesses and deals with the question of contemporary knowledge of the Holocaust among people not directly involved in it, but also among individual Nazi perpetrators and victims.
