Memories trip themselves on threading details, looped my embellishment and deterioration until their separate origins are fused together into a sense. Inaccurate by recollection, reestablished through the abstraction of their obsession- reaching a new understanding through the slipping of their grasp.

ENDAAYAAN is a documentary about the collection of work leading upto Anishinaabe artist Mangeshig Pawis-Steckley Artshow titled "ENDAAYAAN" .Endaayaan an show about warmhearted and sentimental memories. The work explores the varying relationships between family and land; by the fire, at the lake, in our homes, or at the drum. These memories we’ve shared have shaped us and held us together throughout our lives; binding us by land and space. Family means more than love and warmth; we are connected in ways words cannot describe.
