Yuka Murayama

Natsu Takato is a 35-year-old popular screenwriter. She lives with her husband Shogo in the outskirts of Saitama. Shogo used to work as a TV station director, but he now supports Natsu by doing housework and working as her business manager. Natsu doesn't have a lot to complain about in her life, but she has a strong sexual desire that she cannot suppress. She spends nights with theater director Shizawa. Meanwhile, Natsu Takato senses her husband interfering with her script and trying to control her. Natsu Takato leaves her home and begins to live alone in Tokyo. She gets involved with two men.

The film follows a young aspiring art university student, who falls in love with the older sister of his girlfriend. The heartrending longing and the true love that the three characters pursue, is pure, but almost painful. Is the person who stands next to you, is the person that gives you true comfort and love? Can you say that you love him/her from the bottom of your heart?

Takase, a fledgling recording engineer, visits Miyakojima Island in Okinawa for a documentary program. There he meets violinist Yohko and is attracted to her. She participates in the filming as a reporter despite the fact that she has a boyfriend with whom she communicates via e-mail. However, she has an unusual relationship with the artist Kijima. This coming-of-age film delicately depicts the protagonist's personal growth with a documentary touch, incorporating descriptions of the climate of Miyako Island and the actual people who weave the Miyako Kamifu cloth.
