Thirty Cases of Major Zeman is a Czechoslovak action-drama television show intended as a political propaganda to support the official attitude of the communist party. The series were filmed in the 1970s. Each episode encompasses one year, and investigations are stylized to that year. Most are inspired by real cases. The series follows the life of police investigator Jan Zeman during his career from 1945 to 1975.

Three stories from the school environment, mostly from the perspective of teachers. In the first story we see an unnecessarily strict teacher, in the middle one a sports career is glossed over, which causes a young teacher to leave his job. In the final story, on the other hand, an experienced high school teacher goes to teach in a rural school to gain inner peace.

An animal lover, Miloš , brings a small mouse to school, which causes a lot of excitement in the classroom. Miloš remains for punishment after school, however, when the teacher notices that Miloš is bringing lunch to his sick grandmother, she lets him go home. However, Miloš cannot get home with lunch. Somewhere, he lost the key he wears on the string around his neck.
