What happens when, at the height of your career, you lose everything you've worked for for years in one bizarre second?

A businessman and an engineer arrive in a small town to restore an abandoned factory and manufacture a discontinued turbine for a mysterious client.

Under the burning sun, beachgoers are trying to take advantage of every minute of their paid trip to a desolate beach. Among them are a mother with her grown son, two ladies and their dog, a passive-aggressive married couple, loud Italians, happy Hungarians, and an overweight, possibly dead, German lady.

A low-level criminal, leading a double life as a cleaner, finds himself trapped between a dangerous arms dealer and the town's chief of police.
