Biography
Eduardo Xavier is a filmmaker with a background in architecture. He studied his bachelor in Mexico, where he developed a strong interest in space, atmosphere, and visual composition—elements that later became central to his cinematic work. In 2019, he moved to Madrid to study Filmmaking at ECAM, focusing on directing and visual storytelling. His work explores family dynamics, symbolism, and emotional landscapes, often blending suggestive imagery with unsettling themes. He has two shorts to his name: Not Tomorrow, Maybe Sunday (2021) and The Trace (2026). He is currently working on his third short-film: She & the Flame (or In the Shadow of Fire). He continues to develop new film projects and hopes to expand his work to a larger scale in the coming years.
