The final event of 2019 is here, and per usual it’s being held by RIZIN Fighting Federation!

RIZIN hold its first event of the year on May 6, with RIZIN 10 in the promotion’s second trip to the Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan. Japan’s best MMA fighter today, Kyoji Horiguchi, continues to set out to prove his worth on the world stage when he takes on the former consensus No.1 flyweight in the world, Ian McCall. In the co-headliner of the evening, teenage kickboxing phenom Tenshin Nasukawa returns to the ring against WSOF flyweight champion Yusaku Nakamura. The 19-year-old super prospect Nasukawa has defeated all 29 opponents in his pro career across MMA, kickboxing and Muay Thai rules, including 23 victories by way of stoppage.

UFC on ESPN 63: Covington vs. Buckley was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on December 14, 2024, at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, United States. A welterweight bout between Joaquin Buckley and former interim UFC Welterweight Champion Colby Covington headlined the event.

UFC Fight Night 279: Kape vs. Horiguchi was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on June 20, 2026, at the Meta Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Valley, United States. A flyweight rematch between former RIZIN Bantamweight Champion Manel Kape and former UFC Flyweight Championship challenger Kyoji Horiguchi (who is also a former RIZIN Flyweight and two-time RIZIN Bantamweight Champion, as well as former Bellator Bantamweight World Champion) served as the event headliner.

UFC on ESPN 73: Royval vs. Kape was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on December 13, 2025, at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Valley, United States. A flyweight bout between former UFC Flyweight Championship challenger (also former LFA Flyweight Champion) Brandon Royval and former RIZIN Bantamweight Champion Manel Kape headlined the event.

UFC 293: Adesanya vs. Strickland is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on September 10, 2023, at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. A UFC Middleweight Championship bout between current champion Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland headlined the event with co-main event a Heavyweight bout featuring an Australian fighter, Tai Tuivasa against Alexander Volkov.

UFC Fight Night 253: Kape vs. Almabayev was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on March 1, 2025, at the UFC Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Valley, United States. A UFC Flyweight division fight between former RIZIN Bantamweight Champion Manel Kape and Asu Almabayev headlined the event.

UFC 265: Lewis vs. Gane was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on August 7, 2021, at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, United States. An interim UFC Heavyweight Championship bout between former title challenger Derrick Lewis and Ciryl Gane headlined the event.

UFC Fight Night 187: Edwards vs. Muhammad was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on March 13, 2021 at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States. A welterweight bout between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad fought in the main event.

RIZIN 13 will be the promotions biggest event to date from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. Following the tragic loss of Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto this month, two generational talents from their respective combat sports will compete in a clash featuring two of Japan’s best. Yamamoto’s protege Kyoji Horiguchi will strap on the big gloves when he crosses over into kickboxing to take on undefeated 20-year-old phenom Tenshin Nasukawa. In addition to the headliner, Mirko Cro Cop returns against streaking heavyweight Roque Martinez, former Invicta FC atomweight champ Ayaka Hamasaki meets DEEP titleholder Mina Kurobe, and former UFC fighters Diego Brandão and Daron Cruickshank will clash at lightweight.

RIZIN 14 live from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The biggest event in the promotion’s history features 14 fights in the final MMA event of the year. In the night’s headliner, boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr. competes in the country of Japan for the first time in a three-round boxing exhibition with Japanese prodigy Tenshin Nasukawa, who is undefeated as a professional combat-sports athlete. The co-headliner features two of the best bantamweights in the world. Bellator bantamweight champion Darrion Caldwell challenges Kyoji Horiguchi for the inaugural RIZIN bantamweight title.

RIZIN 18 live from the Dolphins Arena in Nagoya, Japan. In the evening’s main event, former UFC title challenger and current Rizin and Bellator champion Kyoji Horiguchi takes on rising star Kai Asakura. The co-main event pits the promotion’s women’s super atomweight titleholder Ayaka Hamasaki against Thailand’s Suwanan Boonsorn in a non-title affair.

UFC 304: Edwards vs. Muhammad 2 was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on July 27, 2024, at the Co-op Live in Manchester, England. A UFC Welterweight Championship bout between current champion Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad headlined the event. The pair previously fought at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Muhammad in March 2021, where the fight was declared a no contest following an accidental eye poke which left Muhammad unable to continue.

A heavyweight bout between the 2010 K-1 World Grand Prix Champion, former Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion and UFC Heavyweight Championship challenger Alistair Overeem and former Bellator Heavyweight World Champion Alexander Volkov served as the event headliner.

Rizin World Grand Prix 2017: Opening Round - Part 2 was a mixed martial arts event held by the Rizin Fighting Federation on October 15, 2017 at the Marine Messe Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan.

RIZIN 15 live from the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan. The promotion returns to Yokohama for the first time in two years with many of the biggest stars in the promotion. The inaugural Rizin light heavyweight title will be on the line when 2015 RIZIN Heavyweight GP winner King Mo meets the man he defeated to win the grand prix, Jiří Procházka. In the night’s co-headliner, RIZIN bantamweight champion Kyoji Horiguchi takes on former UFC flyweight Ben Nguyen. Since leaving the UFC with a 7-1 record, Horiguchi has won eight straight fights, including stoppages over Bellator champ Darrion Caldwell, former consensus No. 1 flyweight Ian McCall, and former King of Pancrase Shintaro Ishiwatari.

UFC on ESPN 31: Font vs. Vera was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on April 30, 2022, at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States. A bantamweight bout between Rob Font and Marlon Vera headlined the event. At the weigh-ins, Font weighed in at 138.5 pounds, two and half pounds over the division non-title fight limit. The bout proceeded at a catch-weight with Font forfeiting 20% of his purse to Vera.
