The Little Saleswoman (1933) is a musical short comedy directed by Georg Malmstén, commissioned by Havin Osakeyhtiö and advertising the company's products. Laundry day is coming up for the Keinänen family. Kalle (Kaarlo Angerkoski), a music student living as a subtenant in the family, stops by the herbalist's shop and falls head over heels in love with the beautiful saleswoman (Martta Kontula). Only a 17-minute excerpt of the film has survived.

Jalmari, who does odd jobs at the harbor, rescues little Risto from being beaten up by older boys. The child is afraid of his violent foster parents and runs away to kind-hearted Jalmari. His foster mother Miina reports the escape to the Salvation Army, whose lieutenant Sirkka finds the boy in Jalmari's shabby cottage. Risto runs away again when they try to return him to his foster parents.

Jaakkola, a priest with a bad memory, gets a prescription for a spa day from Dr. Viljo. Ruustinna plans to bring her daughter Elina and the local doctor together. Jaakkola finds the mail he forgot in his pocket, including an important wedding invitation. Rovasti and Ruustinna plan to stop at the wedding on the way to the spa, but things get complicated and there are enough misunderstandings in the knots of love.
