For millennia, women have cared for the deceased: as death-bed vigils, as undertakers, as guardians of funeral rituals. Then everything changed. Since we no longer die at home, men took over. But today a growing number of women are making a comeback. For the good of the deceased?

Switzerland was one of the last countries in the world to grant women the right to vote. This film guides us through a century of Swiss history, tracing the imprint left by the women who fought for the right to leave hearth and home – and by the men who did everything they could to send them back – until they gained legal equality, whose implementation seems to be in question still today.

"Prud’hommes" is an immersion into the heart of a judicial court that handles disputes between employers and employees. This specific jurisdiction is a place of confrontation where the tensions, suffering and revolts that span the world of employment are exposed. In search of justice or recognition, employees speak out and face their employer face to face. This unique theatre plunges us into a real human drama and forces us to reflect upon today's society.

A quiet little island hidden away under a bridge in Lausanne: the bowling club of La Boule d’Or is home to a team of pensioners who join in a very strange game under the direction of a choreographer. In a mix of documentary and choreography, the film unfolds like a poem written by bodies dedicated to the passing time, to the team spirit, to the learning of collective movement and to the peaceful life. They had to flee, fight for their lives, resist or go into exile. Our witnesses, Liliana, Joao, Teresa, Hector, Oscar and Alberto saw their lives change dramatically on 11 September 1973. On that day the armed forces of General Pinochet put a brutal end to the Chilean path towards socialism, a project of radical transformation initiated by President Allende and supported by an extraordinary popular movement.
