Biography
Hanneke Braam (1979) is a Dutch director for theatre and television. She took her first acting lessons at youth theatre Saturnus in Emmen. During her education at the Zwolle School of the Arts, she worked for TV OOST and BNN. During her education, her love for directing grew. In 2004, she founded her own theatre company and became assistant director for various theatre productions. She worked with Wim T. Schippers, Gerardjan Rijnders and Titus Tiel Groenestege. In recent years, she has directed both large and small cabaret and theatre performances.
Known For
Theatre adaptation of Jan Wolkers' novel of the same name from 1969 about an artist, Erik, and a young woman, Olga, who together have a turbulent relationship in Amsterdam.
