Levon Tukhikyan

Bolshevik Tsolak Darbinyan is infiltrated into Dashnak Army as a musician of Army music band. Despite the initial personal conflict with band leader Arsen, he is able to win the friendship of young band musicians including Arsen and to persuade them to back him on the eve of the Bolshevik invasion to Armenia.

Atanes Ghambaryan, resident of Armenian border village, after the captivity during the World War II, turns up abroad in Turkey and dreams of returning to his homeland. During one of night patrols, border guard Armen who is in love with Ghambaryan's daughter Seda, recognizes him on the other side of the river Araks.

The action of the film takes place in a children's colony, where a film is being shot. In the colony, director Manvel Simonyan gets to know the minor prisoner Hovhannes Darbinyan, who was sentenced to prison for stabbing her lover while trying to protect his mother. The director takes upon himself the burden of releasing a juvenile prisoner before the deadline.

After graduating from the institute, one of the two friends of different profiles, Levon, will go to work in the distant mines, and the incumbent Karlen takes the chair of the head, but this does not bring him happiness.

The film takes us back to World War II. Hitler’s soldiers capture the hero of the film and taking the caprice of an SS officer as an opportunity, he saves his own life and his friends thanks to his accurate throws into a basketball hoop.
