Biography
PÅL STRÖBAEK is a screenwriter, director, and producer. He has previously worked in PR and marketing at Spotify and as a talent agent and producer at TV4. Pål has created the scripted Spotify original podcast "Stammis/Regulars", a sitcom about a group of young adults meeting at a bar, gossiping, and joking. The podcast stars Edvin Törnblom, Vera Herngren, Christoffer Nyqvist, Jacques Karlberg, and Tina Pour-Davoy, and was an instant hit, topping the charts during its two-season run. He has also written the hit live show "Ursäkta/Excuse me live", based on Sweden's biggest podcast “Ursäkta/Excuse me”, which sold out arenas all over Sweden and got its own TV special. Pål has also written, together with Vera Herngren and Felicia Danielsson, the second season of the sitcom "Likea" for TV4. Currently, Pål is writing a monologue for "All Things Live" as well as a feature film together with Daniel Hallberg and Edvin Törnblom.

Melodifestivalen (direct translation: The Melody Festival) is an annual music competition organised by Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT). The competition is a six part tour (5 heats + the final) with stops in cities across Sweden to determine the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen is also known informally as "Mello", or internationally as "Melfest".

Creepschool is a Swedish, French and Canadian animated series by Alphanim, Cookie Jar Entertainment, Happy Life and France 3 about four kids who find themselves at a spooky boarding school. The basic concept was created by Torbjörn Jansson, which was then substantially re-worked and developed by the co-head-writers Kristina Mansfeld and Per Carlsson into the series it is today. They also wrote all the storylines. Creepschool has been compared to Gravedale High.

Bögen är lös (i magen) is a humorous show monologue in which Edvin Törnblom describes what it has been like to grow up gay and human during the 00s. In the show, we get to see everything from a drag show with Ebba Busch to numbers about confusedly trying to find your place in a world full of crazy people. The acclaimed show was played to sold-out houses around Sweden and due to the great demand, the tour was extended until spring 2024.
