Cinelli is a perfectionist ladybird. When her red wing sheath are stolen, she falls into a deep depression. But then she learns that her true worth goes far beyond her looks.

"How to Catch a Bird" is a stop motion short based on a childhood memory. When I was eight, my dad taught me how to fish. He told me to take the worm off the hook after fishing, but I had no idea why. After fishing I forgot about the worm and left it dangling on the hook. If I only knew then what the consequence of this action would be.

The little car Jeep is looking for a unique holiday location and seems to have found it: a heavenly island with unspoiled nature and beautiful tropical birds. But upon arriving Jeep finds out he is not the only adventurer. One after the other ferry brings in campers and caravans that manage to thoroughly ruin the initially idyllic trip. Human characters are lacking in this stop-motion animation, in which inanimate objects bring the tourist dilemma to life.Realised as part of the eleventh edition of Ultrakort.
