Hu Ninglin

In the years after the Revolution, China broken up into fiefdoms held by warlords, who are busy fighting each other. One warlord has imprisoned a girl and wants her to be his seventh wife, but he's too honorable to force her. The local revolutionaries wants to kill him and bring back the republic. But when a stranger returns from abroad with mastery of magic to recover the girl he loved, who is tricking whom and who will win at the end?

The film tells the story of Wu Xiaoyue, a kung fu girl who travels to Tokyo to pursue the dream of a girl group, but accidentally encounters evil extraterrestrial creatures and plagues the earth. In order to protect justice and the stability of the human world, she joins forces with Onmyoji Hisou and the rookie policeman Fujima

Xia Wuhuan, who has a dream of making movies but can only do wedding photography in Japan, accidentally offends a ninja organization and is threatened to shoot a promotional film for them with a female ninja named Yuzu. In the surprise and fright, Wuhuan sees the legendary "three ninja" unique skills, but the film shooting is involved in a conspiracy...

Buliang Zhao is a Chinese man living with his Japanese partner Rin Takahashi, an office worker. He works at a warehouse that sponsors his visa while he pursues his passion for art in the face of family demands for him to return home while Rin patiently weathers overbearing colleagues and her own family’s expectations over her settling down. Through these two characters, on the verge of parting due to the demands of others, the film explores the limits of personal freedom and desire. (Text by Jason Maher)
