The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Sanremo, Imperia, Italy, and consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs. The Festival was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Naples. Still an organized crime stronghold. For the inmates at the Juvenile Detention Centre, time and space are interrupted. Taken away from their families and friends, they now have the opportunity to understand who they have been, who they are, who they want to be.

In 2000s Naples, 15-year-old Rosa Ricci is kidnapped by enemies of her father, one of the city’s most feared Camorra bosses. Held captive on a remote island, she transforms from victim to survivor, ready to fight for her freedom before her father’s war for revenge consumes them both.

A social worker dedicates himself to the recovery of children who have dropped out of school in the streets of Naples thanks to the circus arts. His work, however, is not well received by the families of the neighborhood and the courage of these children, with their stilts and their red noses, will clash with the harsh reality.
