ASMR: Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. A phenomenon that gained popularity starting in 2010 on video-streaming platforms, followed by scientific and psychological research into its potential to alleviate physical and mental conditions, including stress, anxiety, and insomnia. Through a reinterpretation of the Theater of the Absurd, the work parodies both addiction to web TV series and ASMR, symptoms of an individualistic society that sublimates its need for empathy into video content aimed at strangers.
