Hirokazu Ozaki

Following the ascension to power of Taira no Kiyomori, the Minamoto clan is exiled. Minamoto no Yoritomo meets Masako, the sister of Hōjō Yoshitoki and later marries her. Following this marriage, the gears of Yoshitoki's destiny begin to turn.

July 1590, Odawara. Toyotomi Hideyoshi's army had surrounded the Odawara Castle for over 3 months, hoping to conquer this last obstacle to his dream of the country's unification. Not long after, the castle gates opened and the reigning lord surrendered. The name of that man is Kuroda Kanbee. Set in the vast wilderness of Hokkaido, this awkward yet endearing coming-of-age story follows a girl who used to be socially withdrawn as she strives to become a veterinarian while facing the reality of life and death.

Takayanagi is a mysterious high school teacher, who teaches ethics. His students look innocent, but they have serious problems like being bullied and harming themselves. Takayanagi tosses out words & ideas in ethics and philosophy to his students. The words written in the ethics textbook seem boring, but the words by such figures like Socrates affect the students to deal with their own problems and lives.

Jun is an 18-year-old high school student. He hides the fact that he is gay from his mother and other people. Miura-san is a classmate of Jun. She likes reading books about BL (genre depicting homoerotic stories). Jun tells Miura-san that BL is just fantasy and that gayness in real life is dirty. Miura-san tells Jun that his remark is offensive to gay people. Nevertheless, Jun and Miura-san become close. Jun becomes interested in Miura-san, and Miura-san begins to have feelings for Jun. One day, Miura-san tells Jun that she likes him.

Twenty-five-year-old Momo has friends. Her parents live some distance away, but they sometimes get together to dine out. She dates an acceptable guy, and they share drinks at home. She apologizes to unreasonable clients over the phone at work and hones her ability to keep things civil with coworkers at drinks after work. This perfectly ordinary life means Momo doesn't immediately notice a nagging feeling: "I want to die." For her, it's a phrase she must never say aloud. One summer, unable to bear the thought of the coming Monday, Momo takes a day off from work. She begins to visit other people who struggle with thoughts of suicide, but have discovered alternatives and choose to live instead. She connects with these "Papagenos" through social media. Over the course of her difficult journey, Momo herself begins to discover other choices beyond death.

Hairstylist Shota Kawamura (Kento Hayashi) lives in Paris, but returns to Osaka when he learns his mother Sumire Kawamura (Yoshiko Tokoshima) his mother has passed away. He has a strong dislike for his father Goro Kawamura (Kotaro Yoshida) who neglected his mother. His father runs the small hair salon "Aozora." After his father injures himself, Shota Kawamura must fill-in for his father at Aozora and work employee Haruka Nakai (Rina Kawaei). Shota Kawamura learns that the business is experiencing financial difficulties.
