Biography
Vasilis Papadimitriou is an actor and musician. He was born and raised in Patras. He studied Acting at the Drama School of the Art Theatre Karolos Koun and Musicology at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has attended seminars in theater, singing, dance, and music education in Greece and England. He also holds a degree in Harmony (Patraiko Conservatory) and is proficient in Clarinet/Bass Clarinet and Piano. He has collaborated with the National Theatre, the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, the Art Theatre, the Ilisia Theatre, the Anesis Theatre, and others, in productions such as Song From Far Away directed by Foivos Samartzis, Da directed by Petros Zoulias, The Midnight Gang directed by Dimitris Degaitis, Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical directed by Themis Marsellou, Wonderful Ruins directed by Natasha Triantafylli, Lessons of War III directed by Giorgis Tsouris, A Christmas Carol directed by Yannis Moschos, Oedipus Rex directed by Konstantinos Markoulakis, The Assemblywomen directed by Alexandros Rigas, Grease directed by Dimitris Malissovas, Spamalot directed by Angelos Klonaris, Victor or Power to the Children directed by Marianna Calbari, Adamantia directed by Kostis Kapelonis, Diaries of Solidarity directed by Mania Papadimitriou, I Want a Country directed by Marianna Calbari, and more. In 1935, financially strapped widow Louisa Durrell, whose life has fallen apart, decides to move from England, with her four children (three sons, one daughter), to the island of Corfu, Greece. Once there, the family moves into a dilapidated old house that has no electricity and that is crumbling apart. But life on Corfu is cheap, it's an earthly paradise, and the Durrells proceed to forge their new existence, with all its challenges, adventures, and forming relationships.

Libretto and music are by the well-known Greek composer Stamatis Kraounakis. He himself portrays the main role of Victor: a child prodigy from a bourgeois family, who, on his ninth birthday, decides to ruin everything, revealing his father's adultery and unraveling all the hypocrisy and family disintegration, as well as dismissing his class.
