Jennifer Lauren Martin is a London-based writer/director and artist-filmmaker. Lauren Martin's interdisciplinary practice spans fine art, film, and writing, focusing on interpersonal belonging. Their characters frequently undergo a journey in which psychological tension and drama manifest as physical effects. Bodies, in their breakdowns, surface what has been felt and suppressed. In this way, the body becomes another actor or writer in the narrative.
