Biography
A multiple Emmy Award winning former Journalist, Polly now acts in television and film, a testament to her innate storytelling prowess. Most recent credits include Nobody Wants This (Netflix,) The Girls on the Bus (HBO,) The Undoing (HBO,) and Mr. Harrigan's Phone (Netflix) During the SAG strike, Polly wrote a screenplay called "Drama Queens," a TV Pilot, hailed "a comedic masterpiece," and derived from an autobiographical short story, telling the tale of two actresses grappling with the hurdles of aging in an industry notorious for sidelining them. Native to both New York City and Washington DC, and a Cornell University graduate, Polly is mom to twins (and two dogs,) and remains grounded in her diverse interests. From long-distance biking and riding horses (English style) to indulging in Barre classes, and hiking trails worldwide, Polly embodies a life rich in experiences both on and off the screen.
