Francesco and his mother live together in an apartment behind the Pavía cathedral. The son looks after his mother who's been in a wheelchair for a few years. All days are the same, but Francesco's dreams start merging with quotidianly to transcend the rooms and hallways that have become his whole world.

In 1969, a hapless television operator mistakenly deleted the official commentary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. Forty years later, Journalists Marco Blaser and Eugenio Bigatto return to the studio to finally correct the mistake.

An omnibus film made under the creative eye of Radu Jude, with the help of Cătălin Cristuțiu and the support of the Ticino Film Commission, RSI and Majid Foundation. Eleven directors from all over the world worked with the archive material provided by RSI to create their own films, which merged into this collective work that reflects on the meaning of images from the past to give them a new light.

A representation of the change of evil through the superstructures of power. The walls of the former concentration camp of Trieste, the Risiera di San Sabba, give the words of knowledge a sense of physical trail, thanks to the prophetic text by Jean Baudrillard, “The transparency of evil”, which however is not accompanied by the images, but chooses a path that is autonomous and at the same time parallel to them.

The film weaves together propaganda, video games, and war testimonies, exploring the boundary between reality, simulation, and computer-generated imagery.
