Youssef loves his son Islam very much and raises him to learn the teachings of the Islamic religion without exaggeration or racism and leaves his wife Maryam the freedom to pray and veil until she is convinced.
It tells the historical events that took place in the last years of the reign of reformed reformer Ahmad Bey I (ruled between 1837 and 1855), including reforms and reforms of Khairuddin Pasha in Tunisia and the political, financial, economic and social crises experienced by the Tunisian country.
The tone is light‑dramatic, very Tunisian in its social humor, and it revolves around everyday problems, family tensions, and the kind of chaotic situations that escalate until characters say “هذي آخرتها؟” (“Is this how it ends?”).
The story follows two families living in parallel worlds that meet only in misfortune. One reigns atop the financial pyramid, hiding corruption and money laundering behind luxurious walls, while the other struggles daily at the bottom, fighting for mere survival.
A romantic drama that reflects the love/family life of a working cast and crew set team of a series.
