Biography
Max Balter is a Ukrainian director and producer, founder at Balter Flims and co-founder at Bachoo Design Studio. Work in a field of video production since 2009. Mostly he shoots TV commercials and music videos. In 2018 directed his first short film: "Ripost". Riposte is a short film about bullying. This problem is actual for Ukraine, which ranks fourth in Europe for the level of aggression of adolescents. In 2020 directed his second short film about quarantine and self-isolation: "Together".
Known For
Short horror film about solitude and anxiety during self-isolation caused with COVID-19 quarantine in 2020. It tells the story about a girl who is living alone and senses that someone or something else is in her flat.
Together
The family is preparing to celebrate Christmas, but everything has gone wrong. Dad has clumsily put up the Christmas tree, leading to an argument between the parents. Their daughter understands that while her parents are arguing, there will be no celebration. After all, Christmas presents only appear under a decorated tree. But the little girl has no idea how to reconcile her parents, who are not paying attention to her, immersed in sorting out their own relationship. Her best friend, a toy alpaca, comes to her aid and comes up with a whole plan to restore the festive mood.
