A psychedelic docu-essay, inspired by Arthur Rimbaud’s visionary poem Une Saison en Enfer, in which the poet’s ghost travels through history, encountering revolutionary figures and queer ‘freaks’ such as Emma Goldman, David Wojnarowicz, and Marsha P. Johnson. These encounters form a multilayered collage that interrogates identity, the meaning of revolution, and the role of the artist in shaping radical histories and collective imaginaries.

All fears, anxieties and hopes are embodied in the character of Margo, a songwriter who was once famous but who now isolates herself in her apartment. A party held to celebrate her 40th birthday and the emotions that are born there unexpectedly help Margo enter a new stage in her life.

However, in Arrival, the narrative departs from the archived and imagines rather than a state of paralysis, the discontinuation of a cycle. Upon the character’s decision to leave her home and embark on a journey to an archipelago nearby, the island of her destination sucks her in as she merges into the wind.
