Biography
Florence Geanty (born in January 1966 in Paris) is a French actress. Initially trained in classical dance before taking drama classes at Cours Viriot, she began her television career in the late 1980s, notably appearing in the series Marc et Sophie. In cinema, her credits include feature films such as Sébastien Japrisot's July in September (Juillet en septembre, 1988), Georges Lautner's L'Invité surprise (1989), Patrice Leconte's Les Grands Ducs (1996), Alliance cherche doigt (1997), and Rue des plaisirs (2002). On television, she has appeared in several series, including Karine et Ari (1996), Under the Sun (Sous le soleil, 1996), Les Bœuf-carottes, and Commissaire Valence. She has also performed on stage in theatre, notably in boulevard plays such as Oscar.
