Cali, an 8-year-old girl, lives with her grandmother Bárbara, an eccentric, and therefore marginalized, octogenarian. Cali enjoys freedom with her grandmother, but she will have to face the judgments of the neighborhood and the people around them.

An unsociable man lives alone with his dog Lula, his only company. He is constantly feuding with his upstairs neighbors, but no matter how hard he tries, he can never seem to get his own back on them. His best weapon? Noise.
