Outgoing 13-year-old Sydney is on the fast track to growing up, despite the goodhearted efforts of her protective father, Max. As Sydney attempts to spread her wings and make more decisions for herself, Max does everything he can to rein her in and keep her his little girl. But in so doing, his mother, Judy, is reminded of his own antics at Sydney's age, and the parallels -- illustrated by comical flashback sequences starring a young Max -- are both amusing and enlightening.

Baker, a selfish, bombastic, punch her boss in the face type, is about to be kicked out of her dad’s house if she can't pay rent. So she does what any normal person would do, she decides to rob her molly dealer. But when her anime obsessed step-brother sneaks along for the ride... things get complicated.

When Matt, a suddenly divorced and unemployed schlub of a gay man, overdoses on psychedelics, he reconnects with his late Uncle Larry, who died of AIDS in the ’90s — possibly the only person who can get Matt’s life back on track.
