Lucy is a young gallery assistant who collects mementos from her relationships. She discovers that she must let go of her past to move forward, and comes up with a lovely, artistic way to help herself and others who have suffered heartbreak.

Ten women in Canada talk about being lesbian in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s: discovering the pulp fiction of the day about women in love, their own first affairs, the pain of breaking up, frequenting gay bars, facing police raids, men's responses, and the etiquette of butch and femme roles. Interspersed among the interviews and archival footage are four dramatized chapters from a pulp novel, "Forbidden Love".

The Colour of Immunity was an early prevention video created by Glace Lawrence and Black CAP (with original music from David Findlay) for the Toronto Living With AIDS series. This video was the first HIV/AIDS-themed video produced exclusively for and by African, Caribbean, and Black communities in Canada.

There is a cultural revolution going on in Canada and Faith Nolan and Grace Channer are on the leading edge. These two African-Canadian lesbian artists give back to art its most urgent meanings--commitment and passion. Grace Channer's large and sensuous canvasses and musician Faith Nolan's gritty and joyous blues propel this documentary into the spheres of poetry and dance. Long Time Comin' captures their work, their urgency, and their friendship in intimate conversations with both artists.

Coming To Voice is a dynamic, visually stylistic documentary exploring the emergence of Black film and video makers in Canada. Featuring Black filmmakers from Atlantic to Pacific Canada , we experience the journey taken by director Clement Virgo and his producers Karen King and Damon D'Oliveira in the making of the feature film RUDE. A journey that takes us behind-the-scenes from financing the feature, through production, to the world premiere at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), RUDE'S theatrical release and the aftermath.

D-E-S-I-R-E by Glace Lawrence focuses on fashion magazines in addressing the issue of female body image for young black women.
