Three young people witnessed a mysterious event in the skies over the city of Imperatriz (MA). After a year, they decided to return to the location, even with storm warnings approaching. During this journey, they discovered that families were being secretly evacuated from the city. Faced with this mystery, the friends were confronted with the question: how to wake a city forced to sleep?

In an event hall, Parvati rehearses a choreography for her 16th birthday. She does not agree with the party, but ends up giving in to pressure from her mother, who has always dreamed of this moment. Dândi works in this salon, doing general service jobs. The two meet by accident in the cellar, when Parvati is running away from all the futility of her party and Dândi is resting from kitchen work. They end up recognizing in each other the same contempt for all the artificiality that surrounds them, finding music as a way to escape that reality.

Parvati, Gisa, Santo and Baby are the only members of the fan club"Exilados" dedicated to the band Príncipes no Exíllo; the sudden news that the group has come to an end hits them hard. While they try to understand why their idols put their dream lives on pause, they have to go through the maturation phase.
