Thotawattege Don Manuel Titus de Silva, affectionately known as "Tie Mahaththaya" or "Tie Mama," was a legendary Sri Lankan filmmaker, editor, and the visionary pioneer of Sinhala television dubbing. He is widely celebrated for revolutionizing children's entertainment in Sri Lanka and for his technical brilliance in early Sinhala cinema.
