Set in Valparaíso during 1953 and 1954, the story follows Alba (Fernanda Finsterbusch)—one of the first women to study medicine in Chile—and Zahira (Carmen Zabala), the heiress to a family linked to drug trafficking who runs the brothel "La Joya". Their paths cross, sparking a bond and a romance that defy the prejudices and social norms of the era.
