The man is soon sent to the hospital, where he is diagnosed with having memory loss and he also drowned after swimming for an extended length of time. The man doesn't have any kind of identification. The only clue to his identity is a tattoo on his left ankle. The 3 high school students who found him uploads a video they filmed of him to social media. Due to the video, the man becomes famous.

Seito Shokun! is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Yoko Shoji. It is serialized in Kodansha's Shōjo Friend from 1977 to 1984. The individual chapters were published into 24 tankōbon by Kodansha between February 1978 and June 1985. Seito Shokun! received the won the second Kodansha Manga Award in 1978 for the shōjo category. Kujirai Taichi has been selected to be the leader of the staff at the Taiji Municipal Whale Museum. Despite enlisting the aid of Shiraishi Yui who came from a Tokyo aquarium, and the museum curator Mashiba Nozomi, Taichi and the staff are perplexed by the low turnout of visitors. Then Taichi hits upon the idea to hold a staff created "whale festival" in order to generate hype for the museum. One day however, the "whale festival" is in danger of being cancelled as the opening quickly approaches.
