Three ferocious dogs keep a group of young people prisoners in the pool of a luxurious house they have snuck into, while neighbors gather at a nearby villa to celebrate the start of summer.

Paco is a fisherman with a distant relationship with his neighbors. He lives in a small town that preferred to earn money rather than the well-being of its inhabitants. The discovery of a strange artifact will radically change the relationships between them all.

Gabriel León, at ninety-nine years old, reminisces and recounts his memories of the Battle of the Ebro, when he was just eighteen. He wrote letters home that have been preserved to this day as a true testament to all these anecdotes, which he is still able to tell with the enthusiasm of a young man who had to face acquaintances and brothers in one of the bloodiest battles of this conflict.

Sandra and Cecilia are two great apes that live secluded and exhibited in two Argentine zoos in terrible conditions. The NGO Proyecto Gran Simio contacts a group of Argentine lawyers to begin a journey to achieve recognition of the three fundamental rights: the right to life, liberty and non-torture. Against them, they will have the zoo managers, related to the animal trafficking mafias, afraid of losing their economic benefits at the expense of the animals. Candela, a photojournalist, begins an investigation to gather scientific, biological and evolutionary arguments that demonstrate our similarities with Sandra and Cecilia.
