A young man-about-Paris, cut off from his father's money, falls in with a picaresque gang of car thieves.
Having recently moved into her new apartment, Irène Cazenave, the widow of a well-known police officer, is forced by one of her husband's colleagues to take part in an investigation. The building's provocative concierge has been found murdered. We watch a parade of suspects, only to learn at the end that Irène killed the janitor under blackmail. She kills herself.
In 1912, the Alsatian Albert Schweitzer, missionary doctor and musician, goes to Gabon, a French colony, to fight malaria, which is ravaging the population. Administrator Leblanc takes a dim view of his arrival. But Albert can count on the devoted Marie Winter and Father Charles to assist him in his task.

Unfortunately the good man has an old housekeeper who goes out of her way to make their lives impossible. In desperation the two brats run away to Paris. Meanwhile, the girl's father manages to steal important documents. In the end, Gaby and Ginette track down their mother who had not got killed at all. All is well that ends well.

A journalist who deals with the column "courier du cœur" has the absurd idea of launching an investigation into the death of a pianist whom he claims to have been murdered. To dazzle his wife, a reporter for the newspaper, he disguises the facts in such a way that the police suspect him, then declare him guilty. It takes a number of adventures to get him out of this mess and get him back into his section.
