A nearly common shop with a nearly common corpulent saleswoman Karla lies at the end of the world, out of standing in time, beyond genres and universes.

The film is based on the classical painting by Vincent van Gogh. The painter wanders through the landscape of his paintings a watches scenes from rural life. In the end he gets invited to a country house where he sees the potato eaters. The suggestive film honours van Gogh’s handwriting but shifts it to black and white.

A home inspector comes to check on a building that does not meet the proper guidelines.
