Blackness Is Everything

The fog rests on top of a field nestled up against a secluded road, two individuals stand side by side as they survey the land. Francis, (43, Black man) is accompanied by his partner Kiko, (40, Asian woman). Together they retrace the steps of Francis’ memory at the place where his home once stood. Francis seeks to express how the effects of childhood trauma have permeated into the present day, ultimately affecting their relationship. Through their togetherness they work to unpack these suppressed emotions in a way that’s conducive to furthering their growth.
Late Bloom

Ramiel is on the subway with his girlfriend when he sees someone from his past on an adjacent running train. He decides to get some closure.

After running away from her emotionally abusive mother, 16 year old addict Ivy takes refuge at her older friend Joey's apartment, who is a recovered addict themselves. Together the two must learn to coexist as Ivy comes to terms with her trauma.

My Own Mecca is a story of a young man, Dre, and his relationship with his vessel. We learn how he must contort into different versions of himself in order to navigate through his world.
