We enter this world through the oral accounts of young and old miners who share the idea that "gold never ends", and give their lives in search of it, digging, blasting and grinding the rocks of the mountain that guards one of the largest gold deposits in the country. region.

In the 19th century, in Amapá, a territory disputed by Brazil and France, prospector Joaquim is forced by Lunier, a French explorer, to reveal the secret of a potential gold mine. Imprisoned and threatened, Joaquim must use his cunning and knowledge of the forest to escape the enemy's clutches.

Based on the dialogue with the paternal figure, the film is a reminder to black men of the encounter of today in tomorrow about the absence that arose yesterday.
