A French woman arrives in Montevideo, to meet poet Juan Carlos Onetti and investigate the story of the city. She is intrigued by the photograph of the day when president Bordaz was killed and a zeppelin flew above the city at the turn of the century. She is helped by a photographer and both fall into a police intrigue.

Leandro and Silvina, a young and successful middle-class couple, are experiencing the happiest time of their lives. But the sudden appearance of Leandro's daughter from another relationship, destabilizes the couple revealing hitherto unknown differences.

Through the memories and confessions of some of the most important names in Uruguayan music, the film brings back to life the stories of the songs that defined a country and that, in some cases, helped change history.
