Tim lost his father a few months ago. Today, he is about to break up with his boyfriend Émile. Confined to his home, Tim delves into the memories of their relationship, mingled with his father's. Refusing to accept the separation, he embarks on a desperate digital hunt to find Émile.

After being reassigned from music to field reporting, a critic goes to a refugee camp near Paris during an evacuation. He experiences police violence and is thrust into becoming the face of the refugee cause.

Frédéric and Suzanne bought their first VHS camera in 1989. The camera becomes a witness to their everyday life, their family time, and vacations with friends. A few years later, their son Tim is born. As their relationship slowly falls apart, Suzanne embarks on a desperate battle to fight forgetting by filming her loved ones.

The whole family gathers to clear out the house of the dying grandfather. After spending hours packing boxes, they get a call from the hospital – he’s doing better. Everyone seems thrilled to hear the news, except for Louise, the granddaughter, as she is convinced that he is dead.
