Biography
Joel Reitsma is a Chicago-based stage, screen, and voice actor, with a B.F.A. from Columbia College Chicago and has earned many local theatre and film credits. With a nomination for a Joseph Jefferson award for best actor in a principal role, Joel continues to work, live, and make theatre in the globally renowned Chicago theatre community, and he's often found working on stage at his artistic home as an ensemble member with the award-winning Steep Theatre Company. He has been working locally in the film and television industry, and has recently starred in leading roles in two local independent short films, Streamline, and Closure, and starred in two local independent features, Older Children, and The World Without You, both in supporting roles.
