Rehearsals are in full swing at the Sweetwater Boarding School; the End of the Year Show is just around the corner. This year’s motto is sea creatures, as the costumes suggest. But four girls have other plans. Disappointed by their parents and fellow students, these outsiders form a pact for their grand finale. An explosive story, both in terms of form and content, with a strong quartet of girls A, B, C and D.

Victoria is a young indigenous woman who faces several problems to survive in a disadvantaged Mayan community in Chiapas, Mexico, where misogynistic beliefs are normal. She challenges stereotypes leading an all-female collective that allows women to have economic resources around the old traditions.

Lace, taffeta and subtle elegant adornments on dresses. Wide sleeves, frills, deep necklines and long colourful earrings moving rhythmically. Canes, crutches and wheelchairs. Women, men and spectators are exposed to a hypnotic dance show which is a flamenco performance staged among beautiful ancient Spanish walls. It was created by persons with disabilities who feel free and fulfilled while dancing and singing.
