Takeshi grew up spoiled in an affluent family. One day his businessman grandfather Saburo sends him to the grasslands of Mongolia where he is to search for a daughter born out of Saburo's relationship with a local woman after the Second World War.

Surrounded by ignorance and superstition, three police officers race against time to uncover the truth behind the murder.
