Biography
Ramy Moharam Fouad (born 1999) is a Belgian film director, photographer, and actor. A graduate of Sint-Lukas Brussels (2021), he directed the short film Til I Return, which screened at festivals including FIFF Namur and the Leuven International Short Film Festival. He began his career at 16 directing music videos, notably for singer-songwriter Tamino, with whom he continues to collaborate. He has since directed videos for artists including Selah Sue, blackwave., Emma Bale, and Oscar and the Wolf, and won a MIA (Music Industry Award) in 2024 for Best Music Video for Sunflower (Tamino & Angèle). Alongside his work in music and fashion film, Moharam Fouad made his acting debut in 2021 in the series F*** You Very Very Much, directed by Bert Scholiers, and is developing his own fiction projects for film and television.

SUNU is a collaborative fashion short film on the new AW21 Project#9 SUNU from Antwerp based designer Jan - Jan Van Essche. The collective idea SUNU, meaning ‘our’ in the Wolof language, summarizes the sentiment of unity, fragility and inclusive interconnectivity. A sense of responsibility towards each other and what surrounds us. A solid bond, a strong connection, which needs to be cherished and praised but simultaneously guarded.
