Biography
Thomas Hindy is an American filmmaker from Atlanta, GA. He has made award-winning films that have screened both domestically and internationally at numerous film festivals, including the American Pavilion at Cannes Film Festival, the Student Emmys, Panic Fest, and the Sunscreen Film Festival. Growing up as a triplet, Thomas learned the value of sharing and collaboration at an early age. His love for storytelling, the outdoors, and science fiction was shaped by his time as an Eagle Scout, during which he embarked on sailing excursions, canoeing trips, and month-long backpacking treks across the western United States. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts from Florida State University, Thomas aims to push the boundaries of genre filmmaking by telling bold, innovative stories centered on complex characters in extraordinary circumstances.
