On a warm fall day, a construction worker decides to have a lunch break, a young girl takes care of her elderly grandmother, a film director tries to edit his documentary footage.

The main characters of the film are the inhabitants of the contemporary Ukrainian cities of Kyiv, Odesa, and Lviv. Their reality is multi-layered, unvarnished, deprived of unambiguous interpretations of good and evil, humanity and cruelty, charity and indifference. This story is a kaleidoscope, which features all of us: the righteous, the merciless, the funny, the naïve. The honest.

2020 became the year of uncertainty and fear: pandemic and fight against it, murders and disapperances of children, gender violence and impunity. We feel our own vulnerability, worry for ourselves and our loved ones. We want to guard and protect. We are ready to sacrifice a part of our freedom for an illusion of control.

In May 2018 European Union introduces a range of laws that regulate the protection of EU citizens personal data (General Data Protection Regulation). The law restricts the citizens rights to share, save and use the information about people without their permission. Ukraine is on the road to European integration and adopting its laws and regulations. This street incident demonstrates the insecurity of Ukrainian citizens due to the lack of such rules. At the same time it provides an opportunity to comprehend filming/recording a person in public space. The film refers to Isaac Asimov's thoughts about whether humanoid robots will be friendly to others.

Myroslav works as a postman in his village. He delivers newspapers and pensions to his neighbors and attends military funerals. After talking to the priest and his mother, he decides to leave home.
