Biography
Born in 1994, Thomas Trichet grew up in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, a suburb of Paris. After studying art at ENSAAMA and the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he directed his first short film, The Sun City Taxi, in 2019. The film, selected for several festivals, was broadcast on the French TV channel Arte and won the CNC Quality Prize. He develops a multidisciplinary artistic practice, working on both live-action and animated films, whether fiction or documentary. In 2020, he co-founded the artistic collective JTM with Martin Maire and Théo Jollet, as well as the production company of the same name. Together, they have collaborated on several films (Le Boug Doug, L’Odyssée des Minéraux, Brasero) and are currently working on the screenplay for their first feature film.
Known For

Biodun is Nigerian. In this animated documentary, he tells the story of his journey on foot from Lagos to Paris, how he survives with a container (un bidon) and thanks to his courage. With his amazing patter, he transforms the events into extraordinary adventures.

Charles is the victim of phobia of urges and ruminations which worry and disturb him. His daily life is poisoned by visions of himself committing criminal acts against people around him. Through these omnipresent thoughts in voiceover, he questions himself about the nature of his obsessions and impulses.
