In this film, Laerte conjugates the body in the feminine, and scrutinizes concepts and prejudices. Not in search of an identity, but in search of un-identities. Laerte creates and sends creatures to face reality in the fictional world of comic strips as a vanguard of the self. And, on the streets, the one who becomes the fiction of a real character. Laerte, of all the bodies, and of none, complicates all binaries. In following Laerte, this documentary chooses to clothe the nudity beyond the skin we inhabit.

Luciano Candisani, award-winning Brazilian photographer, returns to the Pantanal, the world’s largest floodplain, to document its biodiversity and raise awareness about severe environmental threats. The region faces drastic water flow changes and unprecedented fires, yet Candisani finds hope and resilience amidst the challenges.

The award winner Brazilian photographer Luciano Candisani embarks in a new journey, interested by the story of a group of women who take their living from the sea. He will cross the world to portrait the story of the daily work of these heroines and bring awareness to a vital necessity of modern times: sustainability. Candisani leaves to an island in South Korea called Jeju, where he meets the Haenyeos, the women from the sea. These brave women follow a century tradition: they dive in the sea in order to harvest marine goods.
