Biography
Lima,1989. Director, producer, and LGBTIQ+ rights activist, his work frequently delves into themes of identity and sexuality. His debut short film, the documentary "Juan Alberto", which he directed and produced, won the 2019 National Short Film Competition organized by the Ministry of Culture of Peru and was showcased at national and international festivals. His second short film, "Chica", won the 2021 National Short Film Project Competition and is currently in distribution. It has been selected for multiple festivals, including the Lima Film Festival, Gaze Film Festival, LesGaiCineMad, and the Puno Film Festival, where it won Best Fiction Short Film. He has participated in the 19° International Producer’s Encounter in Colombia, SANFIC in Chile, FIDBA in Argentina, and FAM in Brazil.
