A tale about a smooth and lonely Middle-aged Mermaid who lives at the bottom of a lake and has the magical ability to look through the water for thousands of miles. Her favorite pastime is spying on people through water pipes. One day, during such a spying, the mermaid falls in love with a man, and blinded by passion, comes to his apartment.

An elderly couple is trapped in their village near Kyiv as it falls under Russian occupation. When a fire destroys their home, they are forced to seek refuge with neighbors and find a way out.

Animated short film about the book by the French author Laurent Gaudé "Nous, l'Europe. Banquet des Peuples" (Wir Europa. Fest der Völker) what was awarded the European Book Prize in 2019. In a long poem and a language in free verse, between poem and narrative, Gaudé reviews the development of the European idea since the mid-19th century - and defends it with virtuosity. The press described the work as "an ode to the past 150 years of European history".
