While spending a summer vacation with his cousin Pamela, 14-year-old David becomes completely infatuated with her alluring older boyfriend Javier. As a heatwave intensifies, so do the boy's burgeoning desires.

David is chosen to play a detective in search of a missing filmmaker on the central coast of Chile. The line between fiction and reality begins to fade and David faces his own doubts as he finds notes and videos that lead him to strange people, questioning his present and past.
